Today we are releasing version 9.3.7 for GitLab Community Edition (CE) and Enterprise Edition (EE).
This version resolves a number of regressions and bugs in this month's 9.3.6 release and prior versions.
It includes the following fixes:
- CE/EE: Prevent bad data being added to application settings when Redis is unavailable (!12750) - Update: this fix also addresses a security vulnerability as described in this addendum.
- CE/EE: Return
is_admin
attribute in the GET /user endpoint for admins (!12811) - EE: Fixes Project EE specific logic port error (!2251)
- EE: Reset available mirror capacity to 0 when it falls below 0 (!2409)
Upgrade barometer
This version does not include any new migrations, and should not require any downtime.
Please be aware that by default the Omnibus packages will stop, run migrations,
and start again, no matter how “big” or “small” the upgrade is. This behavior
can be changed by adding a /etc/gitlab/skip-auto-migrations
file.
